Wild Food & Medicine

We are all surrounded by ancient foods and medicines, whether we’re out in the bush or in an urban alleyway. Let’s relearn this ancient knowledge and rebuild our reciprocal relationship with the earth.

I offer to share knowledge with you about some native and non-native plants in your area and how they can help you in everyday life. I can share with you some great remedies for common ailments, all from the land we are a part of.

Many of the plants that we call ‘weeds’ are the beloved edible and medicinal plants of the British Isles, Western and Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean, brought over by colonists to populate their gardens in Australia. Eating these ‘weeds’ is one of the best ways we can reduce their ecological impact on native bushland. I can show you how to do so safely.

I can also share with you information about the vast array of bush foods which the Indigenous custodians of the land thrived off for tens of thousands of years.

Everywhere you go the earth is offering it’s treasures, and I can help to open your eyes so you can appreciate the abundance around you.
